3 ...individual<--->groupSEEKING WEALTH AND POWER
Whenever I find myself unabashedly pursuing all the wealth, luxuries, comfort and power, that anyone could ever dream of, if doubts about the “rightness” of this pursuit creep in, I give myself a pep talk. It goes like this: “As a creature in the economic jungle, you must pursue your own gain, otherwise predators will crush you. The strong survive, the weak don’t --it’s a natural law-- just as seeking to maximize your own happiness and pleasure comes naturally -- not sacrificing for others. Pursuing your own needs insures you are master--no one is pulling your strings. Rather than saying “I have enough” and retreating from still more wealth and power, living in even more luxury, see your material success as evidence of your superiority. The meek won’t inherit the Earth. Those who have the gold make the rules!”
