#45A BORROWING MENTALITY #45B WORK HARD, PAY AS YOU GO
I prefer having or doing something today, and borrowing money (or becoming obligated) to make that possible, rather than waiting until a future time when Iíve saved enough money to (or can otherwise) have / do it. In general, I have no problem with individuals or governments contracting monetary, personal or ecological debts against tomorrow so that I (or society) can have / do something today.  I believe that personal debts or obligations, if not honored, can lead to guilt. Ecological debts can produce guilt if one knows that disrupting natural cycles leaves future generations with damage to repair. To avoid feeling guilty or obligated, worries about unpaid bills, or interest charges, to some extent in my life as a whole I adopt a "work hard, pay as you go" approach.
