BORROWING MENTALITY / PAY AS YOU GO APPROACH

I prefer having or doing something today, and borrowing money (or becoming obligated) to make that possible, rather than waiting until a future time when I’ve saved enough money to (or can otherwise) have / do it. In general, I have no problem with individuals or governments contracting monetary, personal or ecological debts against tomorrow so that I (or society) can have / do something today. (Note: Personal debts or obligations, if not honored, can lead to guilt. Ecological debts can produce guilt if one knows that disrupting natural cycles leaves future generations with damage to repair. To avoid feeling guilty or obligated, worries about unpaid bills, or interest charges, many adopt a "pay as you go approach.")
